Posted by Over 230 buses are set to be fitted with technology that reduces their emissions following two successful bids to the Clean Bus Technology Fund. West Yorkshire Combined Authority will receive funding that will reduce emissions from 156 buses, whilst Leeds City Council will receive further funding to reduce emissions from 75 buses.
The announcement was made at the UK bus summit in London, with £40m of funding to retrofit more than 2,700 buses.
