A slide presented at the Centre for Transport and Society Winter Conference 2017 has piqued my interest. The current set up of the majority of buses outside of London have created a number of issues and when compared with retail shops, it almost seems madness.

#ifbuseswereshops up to 70 people can be in the 2-floor shop at the same time, but they all must get in & out from a single tiny door, so that we can check they're not stealing. While this happens, everything else in the shop must stop&wait. https://t.co/8HdrLFqIv6

Work is underway to change this but we can only maintain momentum with people clearly banging the drum for it.
